I don't want to jinx it, but this is just too exciting to pass up mentioning. Doug Turnbull, of The A$$ Merchants and Fruit fame, may soon have a blog right here on Cement Horizon.

In other news, I just bought a whole new set of gubbins for my computer. After the various freebies they chucked my way, I ended up with precisely one gigahertz ("1.21 GIGAWATTS!?!?") more processing power than before. But somehow performance seems to have actually decreased.
Damn you, Windows XP. You are a fickle friend.

you forgot to mention the bit about possibly having a housewarming/cheapass/event type thing next weekend and wondering which day is good for people. didn't you? i'm pretty sure i would have noticed if you'd remembered to mention that.

Ah HA! I know where you are getting your wacky pictures for your updates. I too have done image searches on Google for "Doug Turnbull" and have seen the karate expert that shares my name. The mystery is solved!

So now that the mystery of how I find the images has been solved, perhaps there will be some sort of contest to find out which words are leading me to the images I post.

Hmmm....his email address is linked to under his name on this very comment forum. If that's the address you've been using, then I don't know what to say, because that's the address straight from Doug's own fingertips.
