Shippin' A$$ 'Round the Country Since 1999

I finally remembered the password to The A$$ Merchants site on MP3.com. CDs are now quite cheap ($7.98), and include super-special front cover and liner notes. Because you couldn't change them when we made the CD, a few other bits of the CD art is in generic MP3.com format. But that doesn't matter. What does matter is that you're going to buy our CD, and bring our $0.58 profits up to $0.70.

HAHA! $0.70 in profits! Enough of this science crap, I am going to quit grad school and live off my A$$ Merchants profits for the rest of my life.

Our sales have rocketed to $1.99 since I made this post. Doug, we're sitting pretty. Although I think I'll frame this first check, rather than cash it. Especially if it's made out to "The A$$ Merchants."

I can feel the riches rolling in. It feels like swimming in warm blueberry syrup. I like the idea of framing the check. Hey, can you scan it and email me a picture of it?

I sure can. Hopefully they *do* send us a check. The reason we didn't get one for $0.58 before was that they decided we wanted "MP3.com Money" instead, which is just ridiculous store credit for buying other people's MP3.com CDs. I changed that option right away, so hopefully we'll get sent a check at the end of this month.

the temptation to buy the album is strong. but not as strong as it would be if it cost, say, $3 - $5 dollars.

i agree. although i bought it anyway. so now if it is reduced to 3-5 dollars i will be very upset. wellllll.....probably not that upset. it's only a couple of dollars, what do i care?

Unfortunately, the current price is as low as I can set it. If I had my druthers, MP3.com would pay you to buy the album. Hey, The A$$ Merchants are generous like that. But the MP3.com people are a bunch of greedy capitalist swine, so the Michele Price is the lowest price our beautiful album can be purchased for. I encourage you to buy it anyway, though, because it's the sentiment that counts. And our sentiment is giving you money back with every purchase.
