I finally did it. I finally saw S. Miller in his Hollywood film debut, Jackass: The Movie. Speaking of movies, Sin City is the one of the next comics slated to become a movie. The movie posters seem to do the comics justice. Choosing Mickey Rourke to play Marv, when they could have just as easily gotten some pretty boy, is also promising. Alhough I guess Rourke used to be quite the pretty boy. Thank god for the ugly stick.

"She smells like angels ought to smell."

Eeeee! There's one frame in that part of the first comic that's got to be the most gorgeous thing anyone's ever made by rubbing a pen on a piece of paper. I can't remember which frame it is, but I'll know it as soon as I go home and flip through the book. The poster is giving me a serious case of the "eeeeee!"s.

Eeeeeee!

fascinatingly enough i just read about this movie in a copy of teen vogue because it was doing an interview with alexis bledel (from gilmore girls) who is also going to be in the movie. teen vogue.

this movie has so many cool people in it (and so many people that teen vogue readers will squeal to see), i hope they keep it the way you like it and don't pander to the audience they're going to get with actors/actresses like those.

Bah. Can't look at Sin City on a computer monitor; it's totally inappropriate. It's also totally work-inappropriate, but what I really meant was more that the story doesn't suit the medium. It's an excuse to read the comic again. Let me be.
